[Simh] os8 simh getting space.pa running

Hi All, 

I have a LINUX machine running os8 via simh pdp8 and I tried 

.CREATE SPACE.PA
#A 

then just pasted the input into the screen eventually it overflows so I can 
get a "big" PAL program like spacewar into the filesystem what are my 
options?
