These do work properly.

I wonder if there is a symbol I need to define or something configurable
that I have wrong that is causing my compiles to not work. It seems odd
that both my Borland compiler AND the mingw produce the same problem that
isn’t present in the official compiles.

Is there a 4.0 source release somewhere as well?

Thanks,

Alan
