I have just been looking at the problem again and realised the remote port
was still connected to something else, so simh couldn't connect to it. Sorry
about that.

Hi Rob,

This is one of those 'it works for me' cases, and you haven't provided any
details about exactly what you're doing, so I can't suggest what might be
happening.

Please provide:

1) SHOW VERSION output and the full configuration file for the case
which works.

2) SHOW VERSION output and the full configuration file for the case
which fails along with any failure messages you might be seeing.

Thanks.

In the PDP10 emulation I use a command like this following to connect the DZ
to a DECserver which I then have connected to a Teletype, and it works
great:

att dz line=1,connect=192.168.0.231:2006;telnet

This allows me to connect the Teletype as if it was another terminal.

I am trying to do the same thing now in the PDP8 emulation with TTIX, but it
does not seem to work when I try this:

att ttix line=1,connect=192.168.0.231:2006;telnet

Am I doing something wrong?

Regards

Rob
