[Simh] Offtopic: MMU architecture and DLLs

Hi all,

could you suggest some papers comparing
different memory management architectures
and simple position independend coding
known as 'based' (as in the PowerMac ABI)
from the linker's point of view, such as
applicability of mapped overlays (which were
real overlays in the absence of an MMU)
and DLLs?
