Dave Wade wrote about writing a Pegasus emulator. It's not a machine 
I am particularly familiar with, but there is an existing emulator, and
there is Pegasus material at the (British) Computer Conservation Society.
Perhaps the information you need could be found there. Maybe the
older emulator implements the division instruction properly?
