You can choose not to distribute. But you cannot say that you only want 
to distribute to me, for example, and expect that your obligations would 
then be limited to me. I have every right to pass your software on, and 
you have the obligation to provide sources to anyone who then asks for them.

My brain and fingers are not cooperating today. It should have read:
"If you make it available to anyone, you have to make it available to 
everyone". As soon as you distribute it, anyone can get it, and thus you 
become obliged to provide the source to anyone.

Sorry about this diversion. I'll stop comment on this topic now. I agree 
that it's the field of lawyers, and not really interesting from a simh 
point of view, not to mention that this can easily become a rather 
infected discussion.
