[Simh] Question about changing the simulator from a VAXserver 3900 to a MicroVAX 3900

The commands

sim> set ptr ena

sim> att ptr ka655x.bin

sim> ie ptr 4

4: 2 1

sim> det ptr
do work, but not using the emulated microVAX. This is because ptr refers to
a paper tapre reader device that is no longer available. If you build the
pdp11 emulator and use that insead of the emulated microVAX, just for
changing the byte in ka655x.bin, then it will work.

At least that is what I do.
