Crowther's and Wood's program is Adventure (aka Colossal Cave), not Dungeon/Zork. Although both are "interactive fiction," Dungeon/Zork has a completely different scenario, and of course an entirely different game engine.
In the final version of Dungeon, there's a nice tribute to the original Adventure game, with its one-point final problem, in the form of a one-point puzzle needed to win the main game:
