[Simh] Clock drift

Hi,
In fiddling with various operating systems, for instance RSTS/E and VMS, I've noticed a tendancy for the OS clock to drift quite radically in some cases.  VMS doesn't have as big a problem with this, but I've noticed RSTS/E drifting to the point where the clock time is three hours or so ahead of reality.
I wonder if there's anything I can do on my end to keep it in sync?  Or is this just something I'll need to live with?
