[Simh] PDP8 RK8E diagnostics on simh?

  Should the RK8E diagnostics be expected to work on the pdp-8 simh?
Experimentally they seem to fail, and a from a casual reading of the pdp_rk
code it doesn't look like maintenance mode was implemented.  Am I right
about that, or am I missing something?
