Does anyone have access to one of the new Mac
Pro's? It would be interesting to see how they
perform, and they're fairly reasonably priced for
a dual quad-core Xeon box. It would be best if
the test was done under both Mac OS X, and Linux,
I've a bad feeling I know which would win. :^(
(FYI, I'm typing this on a G5 2x2 running Mac OS
X 10.4.11.)

Well just for fun... I VESTed it. Here is what
I get from a Compaq XP1000 which has a 667Mhz
21264 CPU, 2GB RAM, and is running OpenVMS 8.3.
