[Simh] Simvh 3.7.3 vax emulator crash

I've just upgraded from 3.7 to 3.7.3, mostly without trouble. My set up is

Host: Linux/x86 Fedora 7
Guest: Vax NetBSD3.1

Running perl in the guest gave me this. Now I suppose this could be a bug
in NetBSD, but I have never seen it before my upgrade to Simh 3.7.3
