*chuckle* That has to be one of the best capsule reviews I've ever read.

[other very interesting stuff cut for space]

At the moment I'm concentrating my attention on TOPS-10 for the DECsystem-10, which is the machine I cut my first programming teeth on, way back when I was a schoolkid in the mid-70s. It's really educational, being able to learn about how to do the stuff that one only saw the operators doing behind the Big Glass Window :) I've made a few ghastly mistakes correcting my mispecerptions, and read what feels like about two metres of DEC manuals, but it's great stuff!

I think writing 'little' reviews of what we've been doing with SIMH and the systems it runs would be really useful additions to the SIMH pages - at the moment there's often only 'how to get a bare-bones system up and running', which admittedly is the crucial part, but I think it would be good to have more of the 'I have a prompt, what can I do?' material.

One 'little' project I have ongoing is to catalogue the DECUS tape images that have been preserved at trailing-edge.com, because they're somewhat later than (and have somewhat different contents to) the DECUS catalogue from April 1978 that I've found as a PDF file on the net. When I've finished, I hope it'll be useful to other people.

Kay
