[Simh] how does vax idle detection works?

I think i missed the point about the brand new (for me) idle feature

I'm on netbsd, compiling from the simhv37-1.zip archive with

gmake USE_NETWORK=1 BIN/vax

if i fire my new emulator here's what i've got


VAX simulator V3.7-1
sim> show cpu
CPU, idling disabled, 16MB, HALT to SIMH
sim> set cpu idle
Command not allowed

except for this the emulator seems to work fine (using the whole cpu).
Am I missing some compile options ?
