[Simh] Simh Digest, Vol 30, Issue 7

Hi Christopher

This shouldn't be a problem at all..

The basic approach should work for any simulator.

The code that resides in the "DN-11" device driver is pdp-11 compliant. It would just be a matter of coding the sleep loop into the pdp processor code.

and then of course re-writting the throttle program so that it collects the processor utilization data and writes appropiate data to the unibus address that the dn-11 sits at.

Should even be doable for a RSTS/E os - if (and I can't remember) there is an easy way to extract the utilization data..

I haven't had a chance to look at this code yet...but I've been following
the thread with interest. What does everyone think the feasibility of
porting this into the pdp11 simulator would be? Of course, I'd have to
write some code in 211BSD to recognize it...
