[Simh] SIMH TT driver

Hello!
What search criteria did you feed Google? I've found that their methods of
searching can be a lot like trying to find a book in a library on a first
time visit. (If your not completely familiar with how to the place is laid
out it can be confusing.) For the groups for the PDP11 I've simply continued
to click on the older posts link until I find the one or ones I am looking
for.

For example my PC running Linux has two serial ports, call them ttyS0 and
ttyS1, I would naturally assign the native sl0 slip driver to ttyS0, or even
both for sl0 and sl1 to ttyS1. (If it let me, I just found out that it would
really not want me to do that.)

And the other question is, how did you configure your selected emulated
image, or images? For my part I would be interested in working out how to
have simh running either BSD from the historical society's archives or even
ordinary UNIX probably V7, and then work out how to throw stuff at it via
the second serial port, while the first is attached to still another
computer. (Running Kermit, not that it matters now.)

As I stated in an earlier post, I am by my nature a hardware person, I look
at software as something for the hardware to do. Simh naturally represents a
method to evaluate how a PDP-11 might respond to things, since naturally I
do not have the hardware here to try out those events.
