[Simh] Running Simh under Mac OSX - Starting and stopping

I would really like to automatically launch simh (if not run through 
the startup of rsts) automatically
when I boot my mac, I would also like to have simh shutdown 
automatically when I shutdown my iBook.

I think perhaps the best way would be to have a prepared "Image" that 
is opened at boot time, and saved
again at shutdown time... What would that do the mounted hard drives 
and other attached devices?
