<p>There never was a single CPU VAX with a 89 VUPs rating.</p><p>According to <a class="m_3512713961916864594moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="http://www.vaxmacro.de/vvcc.html" target="_blank">www.vaxmacro.de/vvcc.html</a> , the VAXstation 4000
Model 90 has a VUP rating of 32.8</p>
<p>simh 4.0 latest from github (built with -O2) on my modern(ish)
Zbook 15 laptop with Raspberry Pi Desktop (a Debian derivative) on
rates at 42.4 VUPs</p>
