But some searching showed a number of people who have successfully run SimH simulators under VMware at least. So at the moment I am inclined to believe that is not the issue.<br class=""></div></div></blockquote></div><br class=""><div class="">I’ve run simh under virtualization without any problem.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">I suggest you to try the current 4.0 beta, which is quite stable and adds a lot of enhancements over 3.9. You can get the sources from github ((<a href="https://github.com/simh/simh" class="">https://github.com/simh/simh</a>) and build it yourself.
