use these have only made the keyboard unusable. No doubt
this is me getting things wrong, but I am rather stuck at
present. I have googled things like "lk461 linux vms" which
gives some interesting results, but nothing that has
answered my question of how to make the LK461 keyboard work
properly with VMS when connected via X. I have also seen
statements along the lines of "recent versions of Fedora
will recognise an LK keyboard". However, I have tried them

I did this a while back - this might help:
<a href="http://lakesdev.blogspot.co.uk/2011/03/g.html" target="_blank">http://lakesdev.blogspot.co.uk/2011/03/g.html</a><br>
<a href="http://lakesdev.blogspot.co.uk/2008/09/running-remote-openvms-cde-desktop.html" target="_blank">http://lakesdev.blogspot.co.uk/2008/09/running-remote-openvms-cde-desktop.html</a><br>
<br>
I have two scripts with an icon for each - the scripts switch
between LK464 and PC keyboard layouts.<br>
<br>
Another option is to run a VNCserver on your linux box then connect
via VNCviewer, this way the keyboard can be mapped for the entire
session.<br>
<br>
