[Simh] More issues with RSX11M

Hi Johnny

I have 7 "disks" and two of which are MAPSRC and UNMSRC; there is no EXCSRC. Four are used for SYSGEN (as I suspect you know) including the two I mention. The other three are a Fortran compiler pack, a AUTOPATCH1B disk and the actual Baseline disk.

I will check the disk archives to see if I can identify an EXCSRC for V3.2.

The choice of V3.2 is my history; it is the only version I used in my time using RSX and hence I vaguely recall some things about it. Most of direct experience with DEC O/S was RT11 (V3B or V5) but we did use RSX11 for the last months I worked within a University department. Also, from what I have found so far, there seems to be more information around for V3.2 than V4.x.

Thanks.
Phil

You have some special masochistic wish since you're doing 11M instead of
M+, and a rather old version at that...? :-)

You need the right pack. With RL distributions, you should have four
disk packs... I can't tell for sure which one is supposed to hold
SAM.CMD, but it might be EXCSRC.

Good luck. :-)
