2nd try.
This is what I have. you need to set up a DCL command along the lines of

$ GCOBS :== "$GCOBS.EXE"

then start it something like

GCOBS tta9:

There is one keystroke tp exit the program, and another to swap
Been a while since I last used it. but(?) ^Z to exit, ^\ to switch
