Then there is the DS100, which is the first LAT terminal server.  MMJ jacks, if I remember right.

I don't know if it's only in the prototypes or also in the production units, but... I remember that if you look inside, you may see a PC board much smaller than the box, with wire assemblies leading from the PCB to the terminal connectors.  The reason is that Ken Olsen intervened in the design when the device was about ready to ship -- he changed both the box size (making it 19 inch rack mount rather than SB-11 size) and the connectors (from some 8 pin connector I don't remember to his newly invented MMJ connectors).  This is how KO acquired the nickname "Chief Connector Architect" in some DEC circles.
