[Simh] SIMH dies when using ftp or wget

Hello,

Initially, I ran SIMH on a 6 core AMD with many other processes.
... but during a weekend I took a 4 core AMD that does not run anything at all but SIMH.
SIMH always takes 100% of one core.

I'll try with simple i586 installation later tonight.

Thank you.

Regards,
Z

Yes. It would be impossible to sell it otherwise [Shameless Plug
Alert(tm) - I am a CHARON reseller].

It could be that your machine isn't fast enough to handle the interrupts
generated by the (virtual) I/O. Do you have other processes on the
system that could be "stealing" time from the processor SIMH? If so,
those context switches will drag down everything.
