By the way, I've sent Bob some corrections for errors that I've noted in 
that document:

 - 4.1, table 1, "struct sim_debtab debflags" should be "struct sim_debtab
   *debflags".

 - 4.1, table 2, the description of "lname" as "pointer to logical name
   string" should be "pointer to logical name string, or NULL if none".

 - 4.1.2, paragraph 1, "SIMH defines 2 flags" should be "7 flags".

 - 4.2.1, paragraph 1, "SIMH defines 12 flags" should be "15 flags".

 - 4.2.1, table 1, UNIT_TEXT and UNIT_IDLE are not described.

 - 4.3, table 2, the description of "name" as "device name, string..."
   should be "register name, string...".

 - 4.3, paragraph 16 ("REG lpt_reg" example), the "PV_LFT" flag should be
   "PV_LEFT".

(This list is not exhaustive; they are just things that I picked up 
while researching specific topics.)
