[Simh] RSTS/E FORTRAN installation.

I've got a tape for FORTRAN-77 v5.4 for my RSTS/E system. The contents are
a bit confusing, however, and I can't find an installation guide for the
package.

The point of contention is this file list:

$ dir mm4: /full

Name .Typ Size Date Name .Typ Size Date MM4:

AUT101.A 244 P 90.02.21 AUTVER.BCK 1 P 90.02.21

F77F77.BCK 3 P 90.02.21 F77REL.BCK 7 P 90.02.21

F77504.A 407 P 90.02.21

Total of 662 blocks in 5 files in MM4:

F77REL.BCK just contains a DOC file containing release notes for this
version (no installation guide). F77F77.BCK contains a CFG file that
configures the FORTRAN installation, assuming that it ever gets installed.
AUTVER.BCK just contains a file, AUTVER.DAT, that has the number 101 (in
text) inside.

It seems that all the actual action revolves around the F77504.A and
AUT101.A files ... but I can't figure out what I'm supposed to do with
these. Peering at their contents it looks like it's some kind of
(uncompressed) archive file but I have no idea what tools to use to extract
the contents. Are there any RSTS/E grognards out there who know what the .A
files are and how to use them to install F77?
