Thanks for the much more useful link; Personally, I don't hide that I
strongly disagree (understatement) on the current IP & copyright disease
in academia & research and scientific papers....
Someday I try post my opinion on IP laws on broad relative to the
preservation of hardware specifics and old software, if considered
interesting by others here.
More interesting to the ML fellows, after looking at PDP-7 DECSYS (aside
that seems that can't works on SIMH because of the DECTape track mark
issue) I'm pretty sure that a sort of "DrOS" (DRum Operating System) can
be developed on the early 18b PDPs and PDP1 (no pun on "drecnet" here ;)
) and this sort of "open source operating system" can be done IMRHO.
