This means that your vaxvmscd.iso must not be a good copy from the VMS CD.

> dd if=/dev/disk2s0 of=vaxvmscd.iso bs=2k

I thought this was a valid command to make the .iso file, but perhaps 
not. I don't remember how I made my copy. I don't think you need to dd 
from the raw device, but perhaps so.
