[Simh] new simh 3.8.1 slow downs in xp sp2 and sp3

I have the new simh 3.8.1 and there are slowdowns in xp sp2 and sp3
during boot and when accessing harddrive and access the vax through the
network with pathworks.

Is there any solution??????
