Which console prompt are you talking about? If you're talking about the 
front-end/firmware console, then you're out of luck, because the 11/780 
simulator doesn't have one (instead, operating systems are loaded by 
loading the bootloader, such as vmb.exe for VMS, from a file on the 
host). The only "console" it has is the SIMH monitor. Anyways, you 
really don't need a front-end console with the 780 simulator, because 
the SIMH monitor does almost everything that the console does. What were 
you wanting to do with the console?
