[Simh] Best way to 'P2V' a live VAX?

I want to 'P2V' a couple of very old VAX 4000-300 machines that are used for software support; IIRC they use tiny (by modern standards) RF31 disks. What would be the easiest method to get the boot and data disks from the Physical VAX world into a Virtual SIMH world?
