I know this is an older message, but I, too, am interested booting
Ultrix on simh. Because of my own experiences, I'd prefer to be using
Ultrix 1.1 or Ultrix 2.0 (the version mentioned in the original
message). I have _lots_ of experience with Ultrix 1.1 on real 11/730
hardware, and Ultrix 2.0 on a real MicroVAX II, and virtually no
experience with newer versions (Ultrix 4.x) on 3900-class hardware.

I'm specifically going for an older environment on older hardware. I
know, from reading the FAQ, that newer Ultrix on 3900-class hardware
is possible. I want to know about the older stuff. If it's possible,
and especially if there are any tricks, please say so. Please do not
suggest I try 4.3 on the 3900 emulator. That's not the point.

Thanks,
