[Simh] Suppressing SIMH messages

Is there a way of suppressing the messages that SIMH gives on starting, etc? I'm wanting to try and?do a Linux set-up that goes straight into a predefined SIMH machine, so that I can have, say, a laptop that I can have [apparently] running ONLY Research UNIX 5, or CP/M, or whatever. Can that be done?
