[Simh] Multiple emulators on one host?

I have a spare Intel box that I would like to set up to host several
instances of SIMH-vax. The box has a dual-core Pentium 805 (it's a bit
old). I was thinking I would run NetBSD as the host (could just as well be
Linux though, but I'm pretty comfy with BSD). I thought I would stick
several NICs in the box so the emulators wouldn't have to share the NIC with
the host. Does that help? Would it be pushing it too much to run 2 or 3
different instances concurrently?

 Thanks in advance.
