With apologies for veering more off-topic...

You know, I've never heard anyone say anything nice about an RC25, ever. 
  I seem to recall a similar thread on Usenet or somewhere circa 1995 
that ended up in much the same place (which I will call 
"RC25-as-doorstop land").  And yet, I still don't know anything about 
the dreaded beasts, other than that they are evil.  Are there reference 
materials online anywhere that you could point me to?  Photographs?
