I have no problem:

PDP-11 simulator V3.8-0
sim> set cpu 11/45
Disabling XQ
sim> attach rk1 solo.dsk
sim> attach lpt solo_printer.txt
LPT: creating new file
sim> boot rk1

SYSTEM READY
DO:


don't forget to use capt to talk to SOLO.
