Recently, I found a disk/tape image of the SOLO/Concurrente Pascal System for the PDP-11/45 at bitsavers.org

http://www.bitsavers.org/bits/DEC/pdp11/Brinch_Hansen_SOLO/solo.dsk
http://www.bitsavers.org/bits/DEC/pdp11/Brinch_Hansen_SOLO/soloDiskImage.tap

I want to run it under PDP-11 SIMH but I have no experience with a PDP-11 and I don't know what type of disk to use.

I tried:

set cpu 11/45
set cpu 32k
att rk0 solo.dsk
boot rk0

and the output was:

Disabling XQ

Trap stack push abort, PC: 000030 (CMP (R1),#177777)

1. What other disk types should I try?
2. If the tape image is bootable how do I boot from a tape?
