On editors we love/hate--
I've always been an emacs fan, even though I can use and have used
vi/vim. However, I've also found that I like the Plan 9 editors 'sam'
and 'acme'. Admittedly, they're nicest to use natively on Plan 9, but
they have both been ported to Unix. I know they're graphical, and
old-tech aficianados like myself aren't supposed to like graphical
editors, but if you're feeling adventurous, maybe give these a try ;)
