Villy Madsen <Villy.Madsen at shaw.ca> reports an inability to boot the SIMH VAX
with CPU memory at 32MB and 64MB.
The memory sizes recognized by the "set cpu" command are hardcoded in the source
file VAX/vax_cpu.c. In SIMH v36-0, the valid values are 8M, 16M, 32M, 48M, 64M,
128M, and if the VAX is not an 11/780, also 256M and 512M.
I suspect the small memory sizes would make it difficult for many O/Ses to even
boot, although historically, Unix ran on pretty small systems. The Interdata
8/32 provided by SIMH with Unix V7 has 248KB, and with Unix V6, only 182KB (yes
kilobytes, not megabytes).
