I've asked permission regarding redistribution or to see if I should
just give pointers to the original source.

There are several reasons related to this, so I don't want to mess this
up. It may take a day or two to hear back.

I'd be more than happy to let you and Tim P. (and anyone else
interested) know once I know more.
