Is shared memory supported on vax780?

(I mean not actually shared, but this special
kind of memory installed with):

$ MCR SYSGEN
SYSGEN> SHARE/INIT MPM1 SHR_MEM_1
SYSGEN> EXIT
$

Is VMS V4 (V4.4 or V4.6) supported?
