After a quick look at Bochs' and QEMU's web sites it would appear that code
from both might be usable.  Bochs is under the LGPL license.  The core QEMU
library is under the LGPL license and the QEMU emulator itself is under the
GPL license.  

Personally, I'd love to see an Alpha emulator capable of running Alpha VMS
added to SIMH(or to Boch or QEMU for that matter).  

P.S.  If code from Boch or QEMU is used one might want to take a look at
their networking code also.  SIMH does need help in that area.
