[Simh] OpenVMS VAX XDM Greeter

Slightly OT, but does anyone know why DECterm won't launch when
connected with XDMCP? I've tried this on SIMH VAX and on a real
Alphastation. With the Alphastation, I can launch DECterm at the
physical console, but when I launch from a remote X session it just
sits there and does nothing. Other programs like Text Editor work,
though. I'm logged in as SYSTEM (haven't created other accounts yet)
so I'm wondering if this is some sort of security restriction?
