Basically, it's a "pick up only" sorta deal for Sydney, Australia. I
live in Melbourne and, regardless of whether I could get them, half
my dining room is filled with a couple of 6ft racks of DG Nova and
Eclipse gear.

The link, again is:

Here's a "cut 'n' paste" of the blurb:

//
I have a collection of vintage DEC equipment that urgently needs a
new home. The computers come from the estate of Brian Murray, who was
an avid collector and restorer of vintage DEC gear. Most of the main
pieces work as far as I know.
More detail on the 11/750.

The VAX 11/750 was known as karri.cs.unsw.oz.au in the School of
Computer Science at the University of New South Wales, where it was
decked out with 8 DZ11's for a total of 64 serial ports connected to
an undergrad student terminal lab. Also had 2 x RM05's (250Mb massbus
removable disks) which were about washing machine size, and the dual
disk controller was the same size again. It ran Version 7 UNIX (32V).

It is a little hard to see exactly what is in storage, but believe me
when I say the collection is extensive. In addition to the 11/750
there is one or two 11/730s, several MicroVAXes, 3 RA81 drives, a
Thorn-EMI Datatech 8900 tape drive, many terminals, printers, 8"
floppy drives, and reams of documentation.

This is a big collection. Bid on some or all of it. There is NO
RESERVE. The big caveat is that this collection is in Balmain,
Sydney, and must be picked up by the buyer (with a truck!). It must
all be picked up by Monday Feb 27th to save it from recycling.

Please note, the priority here is to place the equipment with
collectors, with recylcing being a fallback option of last resort. As
such, I reserve the right to end the auction early and sell/donate
elsewhere.

Have fun!
