  Thanks so much ... your binary worked perfectly (although it's about half
the size of the network-enabled one on the simh site .  I was having
some trouble with
the network piece because apparently my laptop (where I was testing) is
goofy and the adapter is eth1 rather than eth0 so I had to change my vax.ini
to get winpcap listening on the right device but it's working fine
now.  Seems to
make my laptop work *a lot* harder then the emulator running on linux (same
laptop -- I'm a dual booter).

  I was able to build at least a 3gb disk and I'll be trying out 9gb's
over the weekend (possibly).

  Does anyone know of any plans (or workarounds) for increasing the memory
size (from 512MB ... to somewhere upwards of a gig or more) ?  Why the
512 limit?
