Question:
Can SIMH use as an attached device a physical disk drive? 

I have a number of SCSI disk drives of unusual sizes, and naturally a
PCI SCSI card for my computer, that's the same one I've got Linux on,
and for SIMH. I believe one of the drives is close enough to the one
that the targeted system wears when he's working.

My primary reason for running SIMH for the VAX is to gain experience
with VMS, before I work out the details of bringing up physical
hardware. In this case a VS3100 M76. 
(Strangely enough that model didn't appear in the license retrieval
CGI page. At least not directly.)
